up, up and AWAY!!!!!!!

Ninong Dookie D came down for a visit this weekend and I am having oodles and oodles of fun.  He's always making me laugh and playing boxing with me.  I didn't want the fun to end!  So I asked for the unthinkable today from Mums and Pops.

I asked if I can go to Sun Dyago with Ninong Dookie D.

Mums says ask Pops.  Pops says ask Mums.  They finally got together to talk about it.  They talked to me about it.  They talked about it again.  They talked to me again to make sure I really wanted to go.  There was a lot of talk in there with the words "are you sure?" and "many days" and "Mums is staying in Sysco."  I really wasn't paying much attention except for the fact that I was going to fly on a plane to see my cousins!  Woohoo!!!  

I'M GOING!!!!!  

In a quickness Mums packed me up, and I was ready to go.

They're doing Hip-Hop.
Tootles:  I like Hip-Hop.  It's not rude.

That was a good Contemporary piece.  You can feel their movement.
Tootles:  Did it hurt you?

That's the East Coast Swing.
Tootles:  No, it's not.  A swing has a rope and you go back, forth, back, forth.  See, like this (showing Mums the back-n-forth motion).

That's another Hip-Hop dance.
Tootles:  I like this one because they're wearing a blue shirt.  I like blue.

Ooooh, they're going to do the Matador dance.
Tootles:  That's a rude dance.  He's stomping because he's mad.

Another Contemporary dance.
Tootles:  How come he's not wearing a shirt?
That's their costume for this dance.
Tootles:  I don't like this dance.  
Why not?
Tootles:  Because his back is gonna get dirty.

...8, 9, 10!

I learned how to play hide-n-go-seek at school.  Sister Josie taught us, and I taught Pops.

He said he would count first.  
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10!  Ready or not, here I come!

(giggling) Aaaaaaah!  I'm here!  Now it's my turn to count.  1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10!  Here I come!

I look in the kitchen, under the table, in the office, in my room, and in the bathroom.  I'm walking around the house looking.  I ask Mums to help me, and she tells me to look in her room.  I look.  I see nothing.  


I ask Mums again, and she says to use my eyes carefully and look in her room again.  I look again.  Still nothing.  So I look in my room.  As I was looking in my room, I saw my Buzz Lightyear.  Oh well, can't find Pops, so I end up playing in my room.

Many minutes pass and Pops fell asleep.  I will not play hide-n-go-seek with him again!

A train and the special chocolate place...a very Memory Day it is!

The weather has been pretty funky lately.  Hot, where it's too hot to take a nap in my room hot.  Then cold, where I need a sweater and house shoes when I wake-up cold.  Mums promised when the weather got warmer we would go back to the beach.  I guess warm isn't here yet because I haven't been back to the beach.

Well, Pops got an extra day to play and didn't have to work.  I've been so good picking up my toys and taking care of Ading, Mums and Pops promised me a special treat.  My special treat included a cable car train and a trip to the special chocolate place.  

I didn't know what to think of when they first told me cable car train.  I know train, but the cable car part - I had no clue!  Until we got there.  I was so superly-duperly excited I couldn't sit still in my car seat.  I wanted to get out right there, but Pops had to find parking.  And after all that waiting, we had to wait some more!  There was this line of other people wanting to ride the special cable car train too.  

My turn!  I was a tad bit scared at first, so I just sat down next to Pops.  But when I looked over at Ading Sissy, she was standing on Mums' lap with a big hoo-ha smile on face.  She was looking all over the place, and all I can see was some girl's face standing in front of me.  So, I decided to stand up too.  Pops promised to hold onto me so I would fall and break my face.  I'm glad I did.  I got to see the cable car conductor drive and I got to see wherever we were going.  It was so cool!  I especially liked it when the conductor would ring the bell.  I wish I could ring the bell.  Mums says I can be a conductor too, but I have to go to college first - whatever that means.

We did a lot of other stuff after our cable car train ride.  Actually Mums and Pops just did a lot of shopping for their special date.  I got too pooped from all the walking I decided to take my nap.
My nap was so good that when I woke-up, we were on our way to the special chocolate place.  Another woo-hoo!  Pops let me pick whatever I wanted - The Cable Car Sundae.  It was mmmm-mmmm good.  A great Memory Day for me.

"No.  It's dirty.  I poo-poo."

My day at the beach

The past two days have been sunny. A tad bit windy and chippy, but sunny. On Twos-day Mums took me to the beach, but it was sooooooooo snippy out there. As much as I wanted to stay and play, I was fwizzing freezing. Mums says it was one of the few times she saw my lips chattering.

Today was a different day. The sun was still out, but the wind wasn't too cold and it was so much warmer!

I brought all my sand toys with me so I can build things in the sand. There was sand all over! Ading Sissy had a good time too, but she also ate some sand every time she put her fingers in her mouth. Mums would just laugh at her.

At the beach there were a lot of people surfing - just like in Tiki Beach (Back.yardi.gans). I wanted to surf, but I didn't have a surf board, plus Mums says I have to know how to swim first. She's right. Plus I don't like the ocean too much since the waves made me fall the last time I went to put my feet in.

We stayed for a good time, and even had lunch at the beach. Playing in the sand and watching the dogs and surfers in the water. And Mums had a good time with her camera too.
