I BOUGHT MY DRESS!!!!! Ok I just had to share!!!! hee hee hee.... Ok talk about lagging here. I know...the wedding is practically around the corner..yes 242 days to be exact!!! That leaves me w/ about 8 months from today!!! OH man!!!! Can I just share w/ you my adventures.....

Well let's start out w/ going to Chantal's back in March w/ my mom. I found a couple of dresses although no big wow. Then in April I check out Bride and Joy in San Mateo...and didn't really find any wow dresses or even really liked the customer service. It was ok..although I'm the type of person that likes to tell the sales person..ok this is the style possibly that I like and this is my price range... Didn't get that whatsoever... There system is "pick the dresses you like and then we'll try them on." Good grief...talk about spending too much time in a store... So then I go back to Chantal's in July and narrowed down my choices. So then last week I thought I had picked the "it" dress from Chantal's and had to order since they were having a sale that would only last till the weekend!!! Then I remembered seeing the same dress in an advertisement for a bridal store in San Jose called Trudy's???? So I call them up and ask them the cost on the dress???? OMG...... almost half the cost!!!!! GOOD GRIEF!!! Crazy I tell you!!!!! So I immediately made an appt and decided to drive down to CAMPBELL!!!!!!! I get there and then I'm torn again... This store has HELLA DRESSES and more in my budget...well which I thought was my budget.

Anyways... I drag my mom the next day to see the dresses and I get a different consultant and I end up w/ something totally different from what I had initially thought I liked. So tonight... went back for the 3rd time...... almost changed my mind cause I tried on some other dress....but I stuck w/ the dress the consultant brought out before. I even bought the veil!!!! Yes I know..I could have just bought it online...but this was much easier since I was pushin it on the time constraints!!!! So all i'm going to say about the dress is that it's simple but not and it's strapless w/ an a-line cut. hee he ehee....I kinda wanna keep it a surprise hopefully...we'll see how much I'll keep it to myself.... plus. Awsome reads my blogs so I can't be divulging too much!!!

Just had to share my joy and relief...I started to have nightmares last week about our wedding... I was like...so this is what Voodoo was talkin about. We've already went through..."wanna elope." hee he ehee hee

Yes i've been gone for AGES! But I really have a good excuse....wedding planning! hee hee hee.. Looks like I took a little vacation from wedding planning as soon as we booked our venue. Then it became crunch time as far as booking vendors, such as video, photo, band etc.... Anyhow..enough about wedding news. On to more exciting things... FOOD!

Awsome and I had visited a local restaurant called First Crush. Some of you might have dined there before. It's pretty cool. Awsome had made reservations on Opentable so he could get that 100 points towards what??? I think it's like a $10 diners certificate... Not bad right? Anyhow, it's right there off of O'farrell and Cyril Magnin. It's a trip cause as you enter they check you in and they lead you right to the bar. Of course, why not by time and have you spend money at the bar right??? Thank god I drink. Anyhow I ordered some kind of pineapple mimosa I think??? Something that was off their drink menu. Pretty good!!! As I was facing the outside sitting at the bar, I noticed passerbyers FEET! So it made you feel like you were underground. Kinda like Laverne and Shirley!!!! hahahhaha So NY I thought...What a pretty cool feel!!!!

We finally got seated maybe 20 minutes later and we got a corner booth which was pretty cool since there was no one to our left or in front of us. And the couple to our right was still about 1-2 feet from us. I'd have to say..that was pretty romantic. So it was worth waiting for our table. We started off w/ one appetizer which was I believe the crab cake which was GOOD!!!! And then we each had our own entrees I think??? Man I wished I had remember what it was. I know it wasn't the steak but I think it was the pork tenderloin, which I was afraid of being dry. Which it definitely wasn't. I actually liked my dish better than Awsome's, which is usually the opposite. We finally ended our dinner w/ 3 different desserts which was a better deal than just ordering one or two. Warning: THEY'RE HUGE PORTIONS!!! You think you're getting small portions...NOT!!!

Anyhow....another treat that this place had was there underground dining. There's another room plus the bathrooms downstairs which looked like the bottom floor of Bubble Lounge kinda. There's some lounge couches, some beats playin off the speakers (not sure if there's an actual dj), and then more tables to dine at. So I think the next time we go, I'm going to ask to be seated downstairs to see how that ambiance is. Hope you're experience will be as enjoyable as ours!!!!
