Crapola..I think this is the longest time that i've stayed away from blogging. I'm sorry folks for being on hiatus but much has happened in the past month. I haven't really had access to my computer at home due to my cousin who WAS living w/ us was occupying the room it was in. And every time I'd come home he'd be in it asleep or watchin TV. So of course being the respectable person that I am, I didn't want to crowd his space. As I said "WAS" just recently happened this past Saturday. Kinda makes things difficult at home as far as my mom is concerned. It's funny I was just hanging out w/ Ms. Voodoo on Friday night ranting about how the situation at home was kinda uncomfortable w/ him and my mom. We've been re-modeling the house and so it's in chaos, and my unemployed cousin who doesn't replenish any of the food he eats in our house seemed to be annoyed w/ the whole situation. So he opted to move out ASAP!! Oh did I mention he was even payin rent????
Ok anyways, remember I had mention on previous blog that Awsome and I were going to see Jason Mraz. Well we finally did at the Warfield Theatre, which is located on 6th and Market I think??? Right around the corner from the Golden Gate Theatre. So we were running close on time since we were comin from Hercules and it was raining and it's ALWAYS traffic coming from the East Bay into the City. We cross the bridge and actually find parking about a block away from the theatre. Can you believe that???
We've got 10 minutes to get in. We find our seats located on Mezzanine Level, row E Seats 22,24 if I remember??? Theses were pretty bomb-ass seats. They weren't as good as our Brian McKnight seats where you can see there eyeballs, but good enough. The only downfall of these seats is that they're suited for peeps who are 4'10 and 100 pounds. GOODNESS GRACIOUS... I swear my knees were hittin the seats in front of me. Besides that, the positive points is that they sell FOOD!!! And you can bring it to your seat, examples are nachos, salads, sandwhiches and alcoholic drinks if you wanted....
So how was Jason Mraz's show??? THE BOMB DIGGIDY!!!! Oh goodness, I swear, Awsome and I were so amazed at how entertaining this guy was. Better than John Mayer believe it or not.. Well maybe I don't have the right to say that since i've never seen John Mayer perform live. But I have to say, Mr. Mraz totally kept us entertained w/ his scatting and remixes of his songs. He totally hit almost all genres of music, from reggae, jazz, rock, and R&B just to name a few. He kept us entertained for practically 2 hours believe it or not. I just wished the crowd stood up and enjoyed his music as much as I did. So if he ever comes back to town, he's one to check out. I hope he puts on just a good of a show as he did for us!!! |
