Oooooooooooooooh man!!!!! For those of you who have been to Miyake's, you know the deal. Miyake's is a sushi restaurant located in the heart of Palo Alto...the WEST SIDE on University Avenue!!!! This is a classic for locals and Stanford students to get FUCKED UP on SAKE BOMBS....oh and eat some sushi... If you arrive by 6:30pm your mostly likely able to get a table in about 20 minutes...and if you have a big ass party, such as 20 or more...I suggest you nominate someone to get there an hour early and get your name on a list....you'll be waiting at least 45 minutes to an hour... And if you get there at 8pm.....your in for a long haul...

Now what da hell is a SAKE BOMB..... You get a glass and fill it w/ Japanese beer... I don't remember what the hell we had last night....but it'll do.... Now you get a shot glass and fill it w/ sake...... you stand up and you frickin count 1,2,3 in whatever language you want.... preferably Japanese since you are at a Sushi restaurant. Last night I believe we covered Tagalog, Spanish and Japanese and you drop the shot into your beer and slam it down!!!!!!

Back in the day it would have really been off the hook because you not only stand up but your standin on your frickin chair, w/ Japanese house playin in the background, a fog machine goin off, strobe lights flashin and you have other parties battlin on how off da hook you can slam that sake down.... One time there was this chick who had done the splits in midair w/ two guys holdin her legs and this fool battled her and was upside down on his chair takin his sake bomb..HOT DAMN!!!

Last night was another BRL gathering and as Voodoo has already commented.... OF DA HEEZY BY 9PM!!!! WTF!!!! Ok...note to self....EAT EAT EAT before you start slammin down 10 SAKE BOMBS!!! Talk about a mess....

Our waiter had shown us another way of taking sake bombs... What you do is put your chopsticks on top of your glass, put the sake shot on top of the sticks and slam your hand on the table and drink your shot.... Let's just say there was puddles all over our table.... Goodness gracious....

The Weekneder has not been out in awhile and when she does gets FUCKED UP....and I mean this was one of the bad ones.....Dude...I was even making Godzilla noises at the table...and why the hell was I doing that....I don't even remember...hahhahaha It's all Fabloaf's fault hahhaha... and finally Dick in the Glass rolls thru and I don't even remember why the hell I brought up my orthotics...and I was NOT SPITTIN GAME!!! HAHAHHAHAHAH...i'm much smoother than that!!!! hahahhahahahah

Thank you Dickhead, Mista J, Drunken Master, and Voodoo for lookin out.... We got to Q's, the bar around the way. Dickhead left me to get a glass of water and I went ahead and just puked under the table....oh god...how gross is that.....I've never had to do that....But I couldn't hold it in anymore and I knew I wouldn't make it to the bathroom.... Oh and by the way, I've already yacked about 4 times before we got to Q's... hahha

There was no way in hell I was goin to be driving last night... and I give hella props to Dickhead... her and Voodoo had 11 SAKE BOMBS and she still had a HENESSY AND COKE!!! And she was still STANDING... Let's just say that even when i'm fucked up...I can usually hold a conversation and get my groove on....NOT LAST NIGHT....This chica was face down on the table sleeping.... but not before I had done Vanilla Ice's routine to Ice Ice Baby for Neekoh, The Enforcer and Mista J hahahhahahhahaa... It was time to go home..... We left Q's and I had to hurl one last time.....and I was ALL GOOD, SO I THOUGHT!!!

It's Monday and my stomach is still TURNING!!!! No PUKIN.....but can you believe it... I woke up Sunday feelin dandy until 5pm. Hopefully it'll pass by tomorrow.....

So what's kickin on a Monday night.... The Top, which is a local bar in Lower Haight... Haight and Fillmore to be exact... A friend of mine told me that on Monday nights they play hip hop. So I decided to check it out w/ a friend of mine.

Let me tell you.....it's a frickin Monday night and we were circlin for 10 minutes tryin to find parking..... Well I did pass up 2 spots...but you would too...it was right in front ot the PROJECTS!!!! I'm COOL!!!! So we finally find parking and walk over and there's practically no one there... Why is that......it's frickin 9:30pm!!!! hahahahha and they're playin ROCK!!!! Damn...did my friend get the days mixed up..Well we decided to chill anyways...and maybe check out another bar...

This bar's pretty cool...Really small but nice and cozy... Along the wall are cushioned seats w/ round tables w/ votive candles... The wall is painted blue w/ abstract art on them.... At the end of the bar, you go up 2 steps and there a little dance floor and then the 2 bathrooms.. The "W" and the "M".. You guys can figure that out...

This is what tripped me out... You go to the women's bathroom and it's only for one person... If you're goin to pee, you've got to sit perpendicular to the toilet because if you sit dead on, your goin to hit your knees on the wall and if you're tall you might just get STUCK!!!! HAHAHHAHA!!! OH FYI: i never sit on public toilets...i'm SQUATTIN....you know workin them QUADS BABY!!!! But man...so if you need to shiet....your outta luck...

And here's another observation....if you need to use the bathroom, you may wanna keep an eye on the door on who's comin and goin... Cause when you go to the bathroom....EVERYONE SEES YOU headed for the toilet!!!!! It's that noticeable.... So you don't wanna head for the CR and someone's in there and your outside waiting where everyone can see you...well if you don't care it's all good..but for me that's MODED!!! What if you need to take a shiet...then your in there for DAAAAAAAAAAAAAYS!!!! Well there is an exception....if the dancefloor is filled then it's all good...cause the peeps dancin cover you!!!! hahahhaha...

So as the night went on....it hit 10pm and they started playin dancehall!!! HAAAAAAAAAAAAAY, that's what i've been waiting for.... They played about an hour of it and around 11pm is when a whole bunch of folks started rollin in and they started to play hip-hop...and not your radio stuff.... This was the time we pretty much cut out cause my friend had work the next day and I had to get goin....

So what's the crowd like.....well I'll tell you this...since we got there pretty early..I was one of 5 chicks in there and the rest guys... I'd say the age range was late 20's or so ...that's a BIG PLUS for me.... very casual...no dress code thank god...A pretty mixed crowd...which is another PLUS!!!!

So all in all...pretty cool dive.... frickin I got a rasberry cider and a long island for 10 bucks.... Frickin damn clubs a long island is 10 bucks!!! hahahhah And if you get there early you won't have to pay a cover...but I guess at 10 they start chargin I think 5 bucks... There's in/outs for you smokers out there or if you just need fresh air... And the music was cool....from Eye of the Tiger to Pretty Young Thang to your rastafari dancehall to underground hip hop..... Check it out if you can.... PEACE!

So where has the Weekender been in the last few weeks????? NO WHERE!!! HAHAHHAHA....yeah I haven't been able to check out any new venues lately. I've been mellowin out lately...just kickin it w/ friends at they're pad or just hittin up a bar....

Such as 21st Ammendment.... It's a Brewery so no cover for those who are concerned.... You guys can also eat here for dinner but they're kitchen closes at 10pm... The food is pretty good....Sometimes they have a live band playing, so Voodoo says..but I have yet to see one...

Ok...ladies....this bar is IT....especially if you are lookin for some MENS!!!!! It's located on 2nd St. in the City between Brannan and Bryant... And you guys know what's down the street....PACBELL PARK.... MEANING.. after the game, there's a whole bunch of peeps walkin back up 2nd to catch BART or return to their cars... But before they do that...they've gotta stop by a bar and have a drink and BS about the game right????

Well let me tell you... I had met up w/some friends at this bar on Friday night... And there was a game that night that just let out when we arrived..... oooooooooooooo and let me tell you about TESTOSTERONE!!!! I swear...there was about 15-20 women in this place and the rest MEN!!!! So ladies.....here's another alternative for meeting MEN!!! HAHAHHAHA...not that I met anyone that night...but it was just an observation that I had made....

But i'll tell you this...not all the men here are gentlemen....I was comin out of the bathroom and this guy was in my path...He had stepped to the side for me to pass and his friend had acknowledged me...I THINK.... but I didn't respond...you know..didn't want to be all moded.... So as I was walkin in front of the both of them...I hear this clappin noise.....and it dawned on me...SLAPPIN THAT ASS!!!!!!! WHAT THE HELL!!!! Boys will be boys i guess.... hahahahhah

So what's another avenue for meeting peeps????? Well if you guys were in the Bay on Saturday..you know we had some good ass weather and you just couldn't be indoors.... So I had gone to the Giants game w/ a friend...and she had bad ass seats.... 5 rows behind HOME PLATE!!!! Is that the SHIET OR WHAT!!!! You've got waiters takin your order, camera men right in front of you ( by the way I got on the big screen hahahhaha) and MEN all around you..... But be forwarned....it IS a baseball game..so of course the men...aren't on their BEST BEHAVIOR...... hahahahhaha Your in for some crude-obnoxious remarks... So if you have virgin ears...this may not be the scene for you...hahahhaha Well maybe you can handle upper reserves instead...hee hee hee

As for yesterday...I had gone to the Incubus/Hoobastank Concert down in San Jose..... FYI: DON'T BE LATE GOIN TO A CONCERT.... They frickin started ON TIME..... We got there at 8pm and frickin Hoobastank just finished their set.... WTF!!!! I swear....and if you ever go to a concert at the San Jose State Event Center...NOT TO SELF: dress in LAYERS....it gets hella HOT..... and why the hell did we see a guy w/ one SHOE ON!!!! Fool lost his shoe in the PIT!!!!! HAHHAHAHAHHA I'm not goin to say too much about the concert since there are still 2 shoes in the Bay and I wouldn't want to spoil it for them... But it was a really good concert and pretty cool background effects....I swear you had to be on ANOTHER LEVEL to appreciate it...

All in all ...it was a good weekend to be active and out and about.....Looks like today's another day just to do that.... i'll check you guys out later...
