Puck cake

Today is my first Halloween party at school - costume, candy and parade. I'm very excited because I finally get to wear my Iron Man costume to school! Can you believe it?

Mums says there's a sheet to write down the goodies we'll be sharing with my classmates. Mums wanted to bring pizza or ham-n-cheese sammies, but I wanted to bring Puck cakes. Puck cakes are my favorite - mmmm, mmmm, good.

Every time I said Puck cakes, Mums would ask me to say it again. Puck cakes! So because Mums didn't understand we roamed around the grocery store until I found my Puck cakes.

Puck cakes! I found my Puck cakes to share with my school friends. Luckily they didn't eat all of it, so Mums was able to bring the extras home to share with Pops and Ading Sissy.

At school, we played fun games and did a lot of dancing. It was really cool to see my school friends dressed in their costumes. There was another Iron Man, but his heart didn't glow like mine - so he's not real. Pfft! There were other super heroes like Spider Man - black and red, Super Man, Batman, Wonder Woman...and tons of Princesses. There was also a Police, race car driver, Mulan, Thomas and a ballerina.

I got to take home my pumpkin, lantern and special candy. It was fun...I like Halloween. I hope my other "friends" had a fun time with their Halloween too.

I said....

Tootles:  Mums, I don't want to take a nap.

Mums:  Oh, you know we take naps everyday to rest our body and rest our mind.

Tootles:  But my body isn't tired. See, my muscles awake (while flexing).

Mums:  That's good. But we still need to rest to make sure they don't fall asleep. Remember you were sitting down and your legs got prickly and were hurting?

Tootles:  Oh yeah. That's right.

Mums:  We need to make sure that doesn't happen anymore.

Tootles:  But I already took a nap. For 4 hours last night.

Mums:  That's okay. That was a night-time nap. This is a sun-time nap. And all you need to do is close your eyes, and when whenever you want to, you can wake-up!

Tootles:  Anytime?

Mums:  Anytime!

Tootles:  Oh, okay.

....busy learning to fly...

It's been a while...I know. Too much has happened and I don't even know what to talk about.

Except one thing.
The only thing.
The most important happening right now.

Iron Man.

Since I saw the movie, my super-most favorite super hero is Iron Man. Why? Because he likes to save people. His costume is the coolest I've ever seen. And when he wears this costume he can do so many things - fly, have super power strength, shoot laser blasts, and see things far away.

I want to be him. I want to be Iron Man.

...I practiced my running fast. I am so fast I can run to my room and come back to Mums in a jif. Except for those times I hit the side table during my runs because I'm looking down instead of straight.

...I practiced my super power strength. I can lift my soft chair over my head without getting hurt. But for some reason, I'm having problems lifting the couch.

...I practiced shooting laser blasts. Thanks to my Iron Man gloves, laser blasts keeps the villains away. And Mums. She says she has a magic shield around her so my laser blasts can't stop her.

...I practiced my super eye lookers. Mums says I need to eat more veggies and I can see anything I want to see. I think I can see things, but I just need to come closer first.

...I practiced flying...I'm still practicing how to fly...still practicing...

As you can see, I'm Iron Man. Pops says I'm special because Tony Starks sent this special suit just for me! Now I have it all, but I still can't fly! Bump and bruises on my head, on my legs, on my arm...I can't fly! I don't understand why. I'm not giving up, but I'm still not flying. Mums says maybe I have to be grown-up first like Tony Starks. Maybe. But for now, I will just be the super hero who can run fast, have super duper strength, see things far away and shoot laser blasts.

When I learn to fly, you will see me.
