Happy New Year! I say it, but I don't really know why. I get "happy birthday," but "new year?" Not so sure. But I'll say it, because so many other people seem to.
So Mums tells me I'm going to make promises to myself so I can try them.
Promises to myself...so I can try them...(Mums and Pops helping me)
1. I promise not to yell too much.
(I don't see why I need to stop yelling when Mums yell at me.)
2. I promise to share my toys.
(Mums says I have ALL year to practice. No promises.)
3. I promise to stop blocking Ading Sissy with my knee or head.
(Mums told me not to hit her with my hands. So I'm using my head or knee. She never said not to use my head or knee.)
4. I promise to take turns.
(I'm pretty good in saying it, but when I get in my groove - boy, can't make promises. I like it when I get my turn, but at times it should be my turn all the time.)
5. I promise to start walking.
(Running makes me fast. And I like fast - like Dash in Incredibles. Maybe if I slow down I won't fall or bump into things too much.)
6. I promise to count past 12.
(First I learn 1 - 10, then 11, then 12. Now there's more! I think Pops is just making it up.)
7. I promise to stay in my big-boy bed.
(Nap time is easy. It's only a couple hours so staying in my big-boy bed is a cinch. At night, I start off in my big-boy bed, but when I wake-up, I like to creep over to Mums. So what if Ading Sissy sleeps in her big-girl bed? Good for her! I want to hug Mums. Why doesn't Pops sleep in his big-Pops bed then?)
I think these promises are good...for now. Remember, I have ALL year.
