gym

On Whens-Day and Fwy-Days Mums takes me on a car ride to my gym class. It's not really a class-class, just a class. And my classroom is a basketball gym. There's mats all over the ground so I don't bump my head too hard, a parachute, a gazillion balls and cars, a jumping bouncer, and play structures. There's no teacher, no desks, no homework, but there are kids. Sometimes a lot, sometimes a little.

They don't play with me...snot-heads. I think they don't play with me because I can't walk and run yet...double snot-heads. I just play with Mums. She gets me fun things to play with like a car or a ball. And when all the big kids aren't goofing around int he play structure, I get to play on it. I superly-duperly love the slide. When I slide down, it makes my tummy tickle - hee hee.

Pops doesn't like the idea that I play by myslef. He says it makes him sad. He tells Mums I need a playmate.

A playmate? What's that?

Oh well. Beginning March 4, I start my swimming lessons. I can't wait! I'm so excited, I hope I don't pee in the water. Mums has to come in the water with me in the beginning.

Excited! Excited! Excited!

happy 9 months to me....(bleep)!

The (bleep) in my title is a new word I learned from Pops today. He kept saying the word "_itches" after every cheer tonight. I don't know what it means. All I know is I can hear words and store them in my head. I can't say them just yet, but don't be mad at me if I ever remember that word. Okay, Pops?

Anyways, I'm 9 months old today. Yippee for me!!! Actually, it's yippee for me and Pops. I'm celebrating my birthday and Pops is celebrating the Superbowl - his favorite football team is playing.

I can stand on my own 2 feet for at least 2-3 seconds. Longer if I'm holding someone's hand.
Feed myself Cheerios and other yummy in my tummy crackers.
Drop my toys on the floor and just stare at it (hoping someone will pick it up and give back to me).
Scream or cry if I don't like something.
Crawl or push myself.
Yank myself up to a kneeling position, and sometimes into a standing position.
Say Mama, Ba, Lala, Pa.

My new and most favorite thing is playing Peek-a-boo. It's so fun!

Today I celebrated my birthday at Auntie Burnt's and Uncle Neek's place. I just wanted to share with everybody that my Uncle slapped my leg. He said it was an accident though. Don't worry, I'm not mad, but it did hurt.

uppers are coming

I already have 2 teeth on the bottom, and now I can feel 2 more on top. Not feel-feel, but really FEEL!

Here are my feelings:
I have an itty-bitty fever.
I'm super cranky.
I want to be held and carried all the time.
My gums hurt when I drink my milk or eat.
I have to take that icky liquid (Tylenol) at least 2 times a day.
I now start to suck my upper lip.

The neato thing about these teeth of mine is the new things I get to eat. I'm not always eating mushy stuff. Now there's bits and pieces, like chunks in my food that I use my teeth for. Neato huh? I just wish I didn't have to FEEL all these things that come with new teeth.
