My best friend and I always had this rational rule when it came to dating. We came to the consensus that it would be fine to date either someone +4/-4 from your age. That way you would still have stuff to relate to and there wouldn't be much of a generation gap. My homie who just turned 30 about 3 months ago, who just broke up with his gf of 3 years and whom I swore he was going to marry after 3rd year of residency, has the nerve to go and have a date with a 20 year old! WTF do you have to talk to a 20 year old about? Man she was born when Robotech first aired. I remember when I was in college and there's always that one hot chick who went out with old dudes. I would always see this dude at the house parties. All quite and shit trying to be incognito, blend in. . .not saying much. In the back of my mind I would ask WTF is this guys problem he should have kids and hang out with ppl his own age not us. Then I realize my buddy is that dude now and I could be that same dude? I tried to be the rational one and told him not to fuck with her and ruin her psychologically for future boyfriends. He tried to reassure me? He has become what I feared the most, the ol' man at the club!
