Think of this… Living in the valley, I see a bunch of Mexican TV channels and programming… Hey, that’s their right and I totally respect that.…. But, I have one for all of you to think about. Every year, during sports or important programs, we see a little message telling us about the SAP (Second Audio Programming). Basically, for all of you who have no concept of current television, this is way to switch the audio to a Spanish version, while watching the same picture. Again, if this allows people to watch a program, the I’m all for it. But, the other day, I was clicking the channels on my box and I came across a movie, I hadn’t seen in a while. I was down to watch it and then after a few seconds, I realized I was on one of the Mexican stations. Since I speak just about nothing of Spanish, I was lost. Now, shouldn’t logic tell us that if I hit the SAP button on this movie, it should be in English? I just knew it wouldn’t work this way, but I tried it anyway…. NO LOVE for us ENGLISH speakers….

What are Women thinking? IF ONLY....
You know... each year of my life, I feel like I learn more and more about the difficult subject of Women....... Each year I feel more and more knowledgeable about them..... However, just when I think I know everything, a woman appears who does something that just simply amazes me. This person can be an acquaintance, my girlfriend, a stranger, or whoever.... But, never fails, there's always a female there to show me that I really know nothing!
Fast forward to a current story... I have a great friend, named "Zelda" (thought I'd give you all a nice 80's Nintendo flashback) Anyways, Zelda is one of my closest friends, female or not. Whenever one of us needs help, the other one is always there. I listen to her and she listens to me. Check that… She usually listens to me. When it comes to money or her job or family or whatever, she uses my advice and usually comes out on top. However…. When it comes to a boyfriend, she will not listen to a soul on this earth… Basically to summarize… She was married…. the guy was a cool dude who supported her and did everything in the world for her and her child (from another guy) But even though he worked and she did shit, she wasn’t down for him anymore… Basically this was because she had another guy on the side she was starting to “fool around with”. To make a long story short… She divorced the guy and is with this new dude. But he treats her like shit… They never go out. They hardly ever kick it. He cheats on her and she catches him. He is moodier than shit.
Now, here’s the kicker. If I even resembled one of these characteristics, my lady would kick my ass to the curb. So, why the hell does my friend Zelda still stick with this one guy? I can’t even begin to count the number of times when she broke up with him. It took years for him to even acknowledge she was his girlfriend. Every time she dumped his ass, she would state the same idle phrase, “This is it. I’m not ever getting back with him. No matter what.” As you can probably guess… She got back with him every time. It seemed that she would just stick with him just because. Maybe it is because she is getting in those late 20’s, or maybe just because she doesn’t want to look for another guy. I really have no clue.
And this story is not exclusive to only her. As I get older, I find it that many girls will stick with these losers or guys that are just so so. Ladies seem to not want to start over and just stick it out with the same guy, even if that ship is sinking. Do they feel that a sinking ship is better than no ship at all? I find it that women would rather suffer for months, even years, in a bad or average relationship, hoping that it will turn out good than just cut their losses and move on. If only some of these women would think…. Not only would their lives be better, but maybe they’d even meet a better guy and make him happy as well. That’s how my current situation kinda developed…. But that’s another Blog altogether…
