Well, we finally passed the diarrhea stage... all is pretty normal with the BM's. However, I am still sleeping with Mio on the recliner! This morning when I woke up (late as always!) I could feel my lower back hurting.

Oh and speaking of passing... I got an "80" on my first Stats test... WOOOOHOO! And tonight when I clock out at the Disney Store at 1am-ish it shall be my last...until I feel the need for a discount (like when we are ready to take that Disney Cruise!!! heheheee) Will I miss it... the discount, yes. And definitely some of the people there. They were great people to work with, and actually very interested to see some of their houses. There are few Disney collectors, and I mean hard core collectors! Oh well... the discount was really nice when we got to use it back in April, the hotel, the food, and park... at least I got my two free tickets!!

Speaking of Disney.. the voodoo bridal party has chosen to go to Disneyland!!! YIPPEEE for me. I am really looking forward to someone girl time with them. But I know I will miss my boys, and always thinking to myself that "AJ and Mio would have really enjoyed this!" But sorry boys, mommy is hitting a spa the next day... none for you!

Is it weird?
I've noticed this weird habbit that my boys have picked up... playing with my boobs! Honestly, there isn't much there, except for padding! But when they get the chance, even in public, (Mio mostly) will dive his hand into my shirt and just start pinching away!!!

AJ he'll just start pinching them!

Another habbit, probably cuz I have gained a lot of fat to support it, is Mio just swinging his backwards against my chest usually about 4 times in a row, stop, then start another set!!! quite painful

It's natural for young babies, such as mine to be very curious about their own body parts. So, to ensure them that it is natural.. I of course have made a game of "where's your tee-tee" All clean fun. But recently, Mio and Andres have started to enjoy it a little too much... Should I be concerned!

Anyways, those were my random thoughts for the day... gotta make myself busy again at work!

Need to find something to wear for .com's wedding in two weeks, and really debating how and when to cut my gross looking hair!!!

Boy it sucks when...

Your baby has diarrhea and it leads to a sore bottom!!! Then everytimeyou have a wet or dirty diaper it makes it worse!!

So 3 times in the morning, once in the afternoon, and once in the evening we were delicately changing Mio's diaper. It happened when we were Vancouver for Professor's wedding, and it has only happened once since then. But for some reason, Mio had a 24 hour thing with diarrhea (in all sorts of colors, too!) I know, it may be too much information but maybe I should start tallying the different colors, hehehee... nah!

Then there's my big boy AJ who is addicted to "playing racing car". So, nonetheless, so am I. I want to beat the game in every level... but I simply cannot finish 3rd place or better in the star cup! Have I told you he started saying "What the Hell?!" thanks to damoomoo!

Yesterday, damoomoo took all the cars out of the garage and played the Wiggles and Playhouse Disney CD, and so my two boys were jumping and swinging their arms... Actually, it can be quite a workout!!

Backtracking to Saturday... it was a hectic one! I woke up late to get the kids and myself ready for the Mango/Voodoo bridal shower. So in my rush to get the food, kids bags and toys, and my stuff for the show (which came out to 4 bags), I forgot the bag o' games!! I had put together the games to play at the party, and to my luck... I FORGOT THEM!!! Sorry Mango and Voodoo!!! But the weather was beautiful and Weekender did a great job in organizing. Next it's the bachelorette weekend!!

My mind was in two million places that day, because I had to make it from Vallejo to Concord (to pick up my brothers who were my asst babysitters), then to San Mateo for the party/picnic, then back out to Pleasanton for a show! The show started at 5pm when it had originally been casted it was 8pm and all this time I did not realize it was a whole cast. I thought it was a side gig that only required a certain group, so having the bridal shower on the same day was no big deal...

But then the no... it started at 5 which also meant call time at 1:30 and blocking from 2-3, which I missed! Arrived at the theater at 4:45 and had my 2 little ones crying for mommy the whole time I was trying to unpack and gather my stuff, cuz I wanted to avoid being crowned Charlie Brown for this show!! Luckily, we were not on until after intermission, and damoomoo finally arrived to relieve me of my little ones. Just in the nick of time I got all my quick changes together, memorized the new line-up, had extra hands pinning me and hairspray up the butt, and gathered my concentration... and if I might say, did pretty damn well!!! Okay except for losing my place in Pandanggo sa Ilaw, but I managed!! But thanks to all who helped me that night... Raise da glass of Diet Pepsi to you!

Then afterwards as we were all starving... we headed to Amici's pizza FINALLY... we have been hearing about the place from "The Razor" on KNBR that we really wanted to see if it was all it was hyped up to be. with the 20 of us hungry performers, we ate 8 pizzas and only had 2 pieces left over (i think) not bad... oh and thanks Likha!!!

So today, I am waiting for my class to start in about an hour. actually because of my class you may hear from me more consistently since I have a break between work and school... I get my first test back... and I'm not too sure how I did!! eeeekkk I hate the waiting!

Til next week...

OH WAIT: Congratulations to Malakas at Maganda on their newest addition to the family! and welcome home (tomorrow) to mrs. and baby professor! Pappa professor really missed you guys!! looking forward to .COM's wedding on the 9th. damoomoo has been practicing with AJ on walking walking with the pillow... he's looking quite cute!! And I have to remember to steam the barong!! oh gosh, what am i going to wear... I need to cut my hair before the wedding!!

Now, here's a little story...

i'd like to tell you about the concert on Friday... IT WAS GREAT. okay, so I don't have much to compare it to, but it was GREAT! Damoomoo and I really enjoyed ourselves, watching the opening acts (performing dogs and another rapper dude) it was quite enjoyable. Then the main attraction... Mix Master Mike is filmed live walking through the front of the Civic Auditorium and then all of sudden... WHHHEEEWWW... hometown boy making his way to the stage!! And then the 3 boys, or should I say guys from Brooklyn take their place on stage... and for the next 2 hours just entertained the crowds!!
Highly enjoyed being a spectator from the top balcony, away from the mob crowd below, pot smokers (although we got our share of it 2nd hand), and the mosh pits!! Oh, and of course, bought our souvenir t-shirts!

Then the weekend came, and all my shifts from the disney store were cancelled so just enjoyed my saturday watching damoomoo play 5 out of 7 consecutive softball games in a tournament. That was tiring for me, I don't know how the players actually lasted... It was co-ed, and their female players kicked A@#!! Uncle BD was made some really good defensive plays in the outfield... to impresss the girl in left field!!! hehehee

Then Sunday came with a debriefing staff meeting and practice. It was a little hard to have Mio with me, but we survived. Preparing for the show next week ,which will be really hard since I have Voodoo/Mango bridal shower picnic that day too!

by the way, Mio has a new word: yaputz, yaputz, yaputz which translates to pashal pashal in Tagalog or Shopping/outing in English! Yeah, he's starting to talk...

OOOHHH and then on Friday, Mio went pee-pee in the toilet!! He's been sitting on the toilet for about a week now, but this time something actually made it into the toilet!! yippeee...

He has his 18 month physical today so I have to leave work early, but no complaints. I have to study for my first test in Statistics class tomorrow!! At least I get to have 1 page of notes! I just hope I remember everything correctly!! Maybe I should have taken the class 2 or 3 times a week, versus once a week!!

I am also struggling with AJ and his constant video game habit.. thanks to damoomoo playing (trying to win a new car) AJ is played almost everyday this week until 12am!!

Anyways, gotta go and head home... for the doctors!

guess what?!

here's a few hints... 3 white boys on the mic and 1 pinoy spinnin'...
you remember back in the day at the garage parties, (heck even today!!) dancin to ..."Brass Monkey" or rappin the words with yo' friends to "Paul Revere"... now here's a little story I'd like to tell...hehehee

Damoomoo and I are going with the a couple of friends to watch the Beastie Boys in concert!!! YEAAAHHHHH... Damoomoo's buddy from back in the day is actually cousins with DJ Mike (?) I think that's his name... so watching the concert is two-fold! but Damoomoo got the tix and so here we go... Do I sound excited?

HELL YA... this is the first show I'm going to that's not Filipino Dance, PCN, or Disney on Ice or the Circus! So, we are going to set up the babysitters and off we go! I'll tell you about the concert after the weekend!

Something is wrong when...

it's too quiet!!
With my two little boyz who are constantly running around, talking/yelling/crying, playing with toys, silence signifies that they are finally sleeping, OR up to somthing!!

Last week, Damoomoo and I were home (I was sick), I saw them playing in the corner with the nail cutting supplies (baby clippers and baby nail cutting scissors), so I immediately took it away. Then they move on into the living room with the water bottle. After making a lot of little puddles, Mio slips and falls. Damoomoo goes to see what's wrong, as Mio is crying, then instead of "Are you okay?" I hear...... laughter! He shows me Mio's head...

AJ cut his hair w/ the scissors... there were little strips here and there all over the top of Mio's head!!! All we could do was laugh! poor Mio. So, our solution... shave their hair all off. Now, they both look like Daddy!

Likha
We finally had our big show. I have to admit I was really scared and skeptical about how well the show was going to be. But in the end... our dancers and musicians did more than pull it off... there was so much "emotch" and you can really feel the music!!! Yipee to all of you... and of course I could not go without my "solos"... I was really pissed about the first one in Tahaw...that was just a brain fart! and the second one Mangalay ... I knew I WAS counting!!! Then of all the times we did costume rehearsals... my Muslim costumes decided to break open at the zipper during the show!!! Thank you Eman for pinning me up during curtain call... and Ate War and others for emergency pinning before Mangalay!!!! teamwork...

The question is... will this be my last?

We shall see, Damoomoo and I are taking the family to Vegas in October to check out housing possibilities (and jobs). With the rising costs of living in the Bay, our family of four barely making it paycheck to paycheck will never be able to afford a home here. Can you imagine paying 4ooK for a house that is 3BD/1BA over 15 years old and not in the best school district? It's crazy!
Let's not get our hopes up, but our chances sure look better down there. Besides, I think it's time to move on our own. I REALLY want to have a place to feel at home at! Not that I don't appreciate the Laxa's generosity, but it's just not ours. We'll see!

Well back to work!
