today GIMB is 2 months! He has already shown his first smile, and bits of his personality are shining through. This kid is going to be very head strong... he will do what he wants when he wants, and no one can change that. Unfortunately, we are still trying to figure out which formula works best for him. He is suffering from a lot painful moments dealing with his stomach and gas. Additionally, he is the also the one who doesn't want to be put down. He always needs to be carried, otherwise the cries come out loud, louder, and ear piercing loud!! well, okay, maybe that's quite an exaggeration, but it can get hard when the other baby, CUD begins to cry as well.
We took our first family portrait... half the pictures, GIMB has a pacifier in his mouth cuz he would start to cry. The photographer was able to catch just about every facial expression of CUD, and mom and dad... well... we officially look like parents!
So, having two babies in diapers, and on the bottle has proven to be expensive and tiring. but thanks goodness for friends who bought us diapers and wipes for the baby shower! Actually the size 1 diapers for GIMB are already too small! Yup, he has been gaining weight, and the rolls are starting to show in his legs. His neck has also seemed to have disappeared in the "baby fat" He is on track to be chubby like his kuya!
New tricks by CUD:
1. He can mimik you and sounds very well.
2. Have you ever seen the movie "Hardball" where Keanu Reeves plays a coach to boys baseball team in the ghetto of Chicago? And the pitcher listens to "big poppa" by Notorius BIG. Well, my CUD can follow long... He'll say "poppa" and "baby" at the end with the hands waving in the air!
3. Dorothy the Dinosaur "romp-omp a chomp" from the Wiggles is also new
4. He knows how to take shots, and look like you are thinking "mmmmm".
5. Last but not least... "i'm sorry" while holding his head with both hands and tilting side to side! And don't forget the big puppy eyes.
There are very few quiet moments, but it is never boring. Now, we need to work on getting a house of our own!! But for now, having my family healthy and safe every day is blessing enough! Now I am back to work, but not back onto a schedule. We still need to look for a babysitter for CUD before my mom leaves!
