Our additional bundle of joy is born... GIMB was born on Friday, March 21, 2003 at 2:27pm!! Two weeks early, after 4 days of hard contractions, and almost 2 hours of hard pushing!! (And they say the second child is always easier!) I tell ya.. that last week was the longest of my life!
Now I have a small apartment to fit 2 baby boys and a husband!! The late night feedings aren't that bad, but we decided that the four of us cannot sleep in the same bed... Yes, I am one of those parents that sleep with the baby... Only because I refuse to get up at each grunting sound or thought that he is choking or waking up... It just got too tiring!! So, since the day we came home, Daddy Brahma and I have not shared the same bed, and we have been playing tag team with the boys. Since I am the "foodsource" I pretty much get the youngest by default!
Now, my mom has arrived and will stay with us until beginning of June which will help me out while Brahma goes back to the Real World..oops, I mean work!! It's only been two weeks and I am already suffering from boredom at home... I want to go out. No, not the clubbing or drinking kind of out, but just to have lunch or even company of other adults! I am surrounding by kids 24 hours a day, with no escape until I go back to work!!! Moms deserve a little break, right?! At least Brahma has his friends in the area, and softball to keep him sane...
I have ... my soap operas, and the Home and Garden Channel! YIPEEE?!
Well, enough about me.. my sons are doing great. in fact Cud, has done quite well in adjusting to a new baby in the house. He is actually showing signs of making a great "kuya" to his brother. Although he can't quite control his strength when it comes to touching the baby, he shows his interest in the baby! The only jealousy in this family is when it comes to his time with his daddy! That will take time to get over... but we are already working on it!!
Well, I am pretty much off of work until May, and my chances to find free time to write is even more limited. I just want to say thanks to all the well-wishers (friends and family) who have watched and supported our family in this time of expansion! Hopefully we won't expand for another 5 years... when we try for a GIRL! hehehhe
