Okay, I am officially able to give birth at this time... I am within a month, so that if this baby decides to pop out now, it will not be considered too pre-mature! So the clock is just ticking. Preparations are now in full swing...

Last weekend I made Brahma promise me that we would not schedule anything for Sunday, so we can re-arrange our apartment to make room for GIMB! I already struggled on my own the weekend before to put up curtains! It was then I realized that I am not the handy-woman I thought I was... lever, scewdriver, power drill, those plastic thingies you should use when you are drilling into drywall, stud finder... yeah yeah yeah.... argggghh ... arggghhh... argghhhh!! Well, the curtain is up and straight, just took too much time waiting for the drill to re-charge, and going up and down from the chair was quite a challenge!

Then last week, Brahma decided that it was time to spend some money on organizing... bought bins, and a shelf for our printers, and a towel hanger for the bathroom. He took out the shower doors and replaced them with rubber duckies shower curtain which makes it a whole lot easier to give CUD a bath in the bathtub... which I will be able to do once GIMB pops out. I was able to make CUD's crib into a bed, which he doesn't use yet cuz he needs to cuddle up to mommy and daddy in his sleep, and I want to put some kind of bedside gate so he doesn't fall out. We are hoping to get a bassinet from the registry at the upcoming baby shower... (thank you voodoo and weekender for putting it all together)

I talked to my mom in PI, unfortunately they will not be arriving until after my due date... so that will be kinda different. But she was also the one who reminded that I should pack my bag for the hospital. Which in turn reminded me that I need to take out all the newborn clothes and wash them!!! before it's too late!

I'm not quite sure what CUD knows about this new baby thing, but I do know that he is very clingy to his daddy. Brahma cannot do a thing without him trailing behind. It is cute, but I know it can be quite mind blowing knowing you cannot get a free moment to yourself, until he falls asleep. As for me, I just have a hard time sitting and standing for long periods of time... my back (not just he lower back), but from my hip to my shoulders always hurts by the end of the day... and the only that helps is a nice back rub with vicks and laying down!! So, you can imagine how much I must be around the house lately...

well, i must get back to the grind at work... and get these students some scholarship money...lot to do before I actually take off from work, which could be any day now!
