okay... the name thing...
well to keep up with this "Philippine Hero" theme we started... we are leaning towards Emilio! No middle name yet. Brahma did suggest to use my mom's family name..Santos... but that would make his initials ESL?!

GIMB1 has gotten used to the "baby in the tummy" idea. Now he just lifts my shirt and kisses my belly! Unfortunately, with the extra teething happening.. the kisses are a little wetter than normal! Oh well, as a mother nothing seems to phase you anymore. Speaking of teething... he is growing another tooth at the top, to make 6 tooths total! Playing biting games are not as fun as they used to be!

GIMB1 is also on a walking rampage. Any chance he gets he will walk around the apartment or Nana's house! He just picks himself up and he is off!! It's fun watching him as he does the baby wobble at each step. I am trying to get him to walk to the car so I don't have to carry him all the time. Sometimes it work... sometimes it doesn't.

I am entering his picture in the Gap Casting Call. Maybe we'll see him in the Spring catalogs!! I'm giving the picture with his Harvard shirt (thanks Ninang!!) Cross your fingers!

As for the pregnancy.. well... he is an active one... primarily around ten at night as I am trying to settle down for bed. Sleeping is becoming a little uncomfortable, considering that I love to sleep on my back! Now, I am confined to my side!
Oh well... I will be gone with it all by April.

I've gotta find me some new clothes... especially pants that fit my ever growing tummy! Size 8 or larger anyone... Heheheh

On another note... seeing a pregnant woman in a "bahag" is scary... sorry to those at birthday party on saturday who were witness to that!! but it was worth seeing my husband in a skirt trying to balance pots on his head!!!

That will be a picture to show my sons!!!

Well... we saw IT!!!
Tuesday morning Brahma and I got the opportunity to see GIMB 2 in action! We got the official sonogram pictures of our bouncing baby BOY!!
You know it's not easy having a full bladder and having this mouse-like mechanism being pushed onto your stomach. Try that without having an "accident" Luckily after 10 minutes, the sonogram taking person told me to go to the bathroom, to hopefully allow for a better view!

We got to the baby's head and profile.. he looked like he was sucking or playing w/ his tongue. He is ready to be breast fed!! And of course the "outdoor plumbing" proving that this one was a brother! Disappointed.. nah not really. I think it just proves that I am cursed to be around boys all my life. We'll see in about 5 years if we want to try again...does anyone have the chinese calendar that tells you when to conceive if you want a particular gender? Any other ideas?

We are trying very hard to get GIMB1 to relate to having another baby around. So far when we tell him there is a baby in mommy's tummy, he just laughs and plays with my belly button! I don't think we'll have too much of problem considering he loves being around other kids and babies. I am just afraid he will not understand his own strength and end up hitting the newborn. At least all of his clothes will be put to use again...considering he hardly wore some of them....He outgrew them at a record pace!

My tummy starting to show. Doc says i gained 6 pounds putting me at 129! I am not quite satisfied after eating my meals unless I have something sweet to finish it off. Dancing in terms of performances are definitely out of the picture since I will not be able to fit into any costumes! I need to find something else to do with my time! I am looking for other mothers with babies to schedule a playdate... to be my social outlet, and go to places other than Safeway, Costco, and Toys R Us!

Which reminds me... Brahma and spent an hour at Toys R Us looking for a toy for GIMB1... we finally walked away with a basketball hoop! Do you think he is too small or young to start? I wanted to get him the bike that starts off like a rocker, then transforms to tyke bike w/ a handle for mommy to push, and the that part disappears and it's a bike! I got talked out of getting that one.

Random Memory:
We visited a friends house to have a Veteran's Day BBQ. They have a 2-year old and 6-month old daughters. the 2- year old is a very strong one! She was pulling bags and toys out of their place. Then it came time to play with GIMB. Not knowing her own strength, she pulled on his shirt, arms, and hair to get him to play. Eventually, GIMB1 just flat out cried everytime she came near! So, it wasn't until she fell asleep that he began to play! What a sight...

Well, it's time for me to clock out.. and beat the rush hour traffice coming from the city...
