well, it was mommy's nite out with friends last nite. celebrating Ninang Voodoo's birthday! I have never been to that restaurant [e&o trading company]. It was a cool atmosphere, and the food was Asian w/ american cuisine flare....a little over my part-time job and family raising budget, but it was worth it. I had a good lunch today, that's for sure!
Another cool part about last night was meeting the other bloggers of the BRL family. Finally faces to the names...next time we should have name tags... Unfortunately, with my very bad sense of memory I forgot almost everyone's names! Either way....you are all very cool cats! Hopefully next time you will meet Git in Mah Belly!
Speaking of that little devil... He has not changed much since i last blogged. Well, maybe just a little more talkative and bouncy. This morning, as we do our slow rise every morning, we watched Sesame Street/Elmo's World. If you ever watched that show when you were a kid, it's weird seeing how Maria has aged herself. She is the Spanish speaking adult in the show. But the characters are still the same, maybe a number of new ones! Oh, but if you were so to see the Count.. his voice has changed...not as scary i guess!
Well, after that show is over, on comes Teletubbies...Oh God, the teletubbies!!! I noticed a very strange thing... GIMB actually liked watching them.......AHHHH the horror! I hate the teletubbies! I can handle the Wiggles, and Blue's Clues, but not those teletubbies!
I was contemplating whether or not I should bring GIMB to Marine World on Saturday for the FIlipino Family Day. I perform with young kiddies from Hercules at 11:00am then I am free as a bird...Brahma is dee-jaying that afternoon, so he won't be around either. Then we can just sit and watch all the shows and feed the animals all day! I think that sounds like a plan! What do you think?
Keep your fingers crossed... I had my first interview for a full-time job at Cal Maritime Academy. It went well i guess. They are still holding interviews though. The committee did like my handwriting though! Mommy really needs this job... it would be cool to get it cuz it's really close to home, and i get out at 4:30 pm which still gives me daylight time to spend with my young one, and even help out the youth group here at my old work! I just gotta keep praying!
Haven't been able to spend much quality time with Brahma, but I guess I am getting used to it. Life just seems to be so busy... I wouldn't know what to do with my own downtime anymore!!! pretty scary!
Til next time....
