well, it was mommy's nite out with friends last nite. celebrating Ninang Voodoo's birthday! I have never been to that restaurant [e&o trading company]. It was a cool atmosphere, and the food was Asian w/ american cuisine flare....a little over my part-time job and family raising budget, but it was worth it. I had a good lunch today, that's for sure!

Another cool part about last night was meeting the other bloggers of the BRL family. Finally faces to the names...next time we should have name tags... Unfortunately, with my very bad sense of memory I forgot almost everyone's names! Either way....you are all very cool cats! Hopefully next time you will meet Git in Mah Belly!

Speaking of that little devil... He has not changed much since i last blogged. Well, maybe just a little more talkative and bouncy. This morning, as we do our slow rise every morning, we watched Sesame Street/Elmo's World. If you ever watched that show when you were a kid, it's weird seeing how Maria has aged herself. She is the Spanish speaking adult in the show. But the characters are still the same, maybe a number of new ones! Oh, but if you were so to see the Count.. his voice has changed...not as scary i guess!

Well, after that show is over, on comes Teletubbies...Oh God, the teletubbies!!! I noticed a very strange thing... GIMB actually liked watching them.......AHHHH the horror! I hate the teletubbies! I can handle the Wiggles, and Blue's Clues, but not those teletubbies!

I was contemplating whether or not I should bring GIMB to Marine World on Saturday for the FIlipino Family Day. I perform with young kiddies from Hercules at 11:00am then I am free as a bird...Brahma is dee-jaying that afternoon, so he won't be around either. Then we can just sit and watch all the shows and feed the animals all day! I think that sounds like a plan! What do you think?

Keep your fingers crossed... I had my first interview for a full-time job at Cal Maritime Academy. It went well i guess. They are still holding interviews though. The committee did like my handwriting though! Mommy really needs this job... it would be cool to get it cuz it's really close to home, and i get out at 4:30 pm which still gives me daylight time to spend with my young one, and even help out the youth group here at my old work! I just gotta keep praying!

Haven't been able to spend much quality time with Brahma, but I guess I am getting used to it. Life just seems to be so busy... I wouldn't know what to do with my own downtime anymore!!! pretty scary!

Til next time....

Okay... we are very guilty of blog slacking! Sorry it has just been a very busy month!

Baby Update:
His first TOOF has finally broken through the gums... It was quite a surprise when I gave my finger as a replacement for those other teethers and felt a sharp poke from the bottom gum!!! Then I looked, and there it was!!! So, if you ever get a chance to see him smile with his gums showing, it is quite cute seeing that Toof poking out

He is crawling.. well, actually it is more like pushing himself around on his stomach. He has not mastered the all fours crawl just yet! I believe that his stomach is just too heavy for him to support and coordinate himself to a steady crawl. He is able to pull himself up along the edge of the couch and his crib railings into the standing position. Then he will be so excited that he starts bouncing up and down, and eventually falling back onto his butt! His excitement also brings out his happy yells.. and i mean yells!

He even did that in the middle of the Ann Taylor Outlet because he saw another kid...a girl as a matter of fact. He has this funny tendacy to get "gigil" (don't know if i spelled that one right). I guess cuz he gets pinched all the time, he wants to do the same to others, especially on the fat on my arm. He also makes a fist or squeezes his hands and let out a little yelp.

As for mom and dad, we are still awaiting that faithful nite when the baby sleeps through the nite! But I figure it is the price we pay to have a baby that doesn't really cry during the rest of the day, and isn't afraid of every person he sees.

Okay, keep your fingers crossed cuz there are some potential jobs out there for me to work full-time! We really need the money so we are not struggling paycheck by paycheck. And eventually have the opportunity to buy a house! And even somewhere down the line... have our church wedding and big reception I have always dreamed of... oh, and have more babies!!!

Congratulations to mom and dad David who welcomed the newest addition to their family...Antonio John! Just remember, Git in Mah Belly was the first A.J!!!
