Happy First Official Father's Day to Brahma Bull!!!
We celebrated daddy's day, just like we celebrated mommy's day....1) wake up opening cards from mommy and Git in Mah Belly, 2) went to practice, 3) went to Brahma's softball game (and i won an "in & out" certificate thanks to Brahma's hits during the 4th inning!), 4) dinner, but this time pizza with the softball team! Just as I said about mother's day... we won't really feel it until the cards are actually written and given by our son!
Okay so I have been a blogging slacker... I guess it has taken me awhile to really come back from the vacation! So many things have happened so quickly since we returned. My mom and brothers sadly returned to PI. Brahma had his official come back as a DJ. We helped a young group of folk dancers prepare for two of their shows. I worked my first Saturday since I was 5 months pregnant. I had to actually work for a whole week to prepare for that Saturday event. Brahma's god-daughter turned 1! Somewhere along the line, we were able to organize the house a little...actually very little!
BABY UPDATE:
According to Ninang Curlz, I never mentioned that my son is now babbling... well, it's more like "mum", "mmmmmmm", and "baabaa baa" which all usually comes with the cute little reach to be carried or be fed, or grab that toy... or... the don't go where i can't see you cry!
All he does is roll over and over in order to get the toy he sees...actually it is mostly something he finds on the floor. Now, that can be a little scary since he still has the tendancy to put everything in his mouth!!! He is not crawling yet, but really likes walking up stairs when he sees them!
Not quite sleeping through the nite yet... which is why I am quite jealous of other parents.... we still have to get up at 3 or 4 in the morning for that 4oz bottle! But I still have the cuter baby!!! hehheeeheeehe...
He has a new facial expression... before he used to smile with his mouth open... now, it's the "stinky face" smile! Picture the commercials for the sour candies... it's that puckered nose to the eyes look, and add the smile from cheek to cheek (just like daddy), and the snorting sound... and that is GIMB's new facial expression.
That's about it for now... he is just getting heavier and heavier, and a little more talkative... you should come by and visit us!!
