I know it's already Wednesday, but I have to share with you all how my weekend went.
First we took Git in My Belly for his pictures (ones that we are going to include in the baptism invites). We decided to go to Photo Galleria at Sunvalley...cheaper and you get more pictures in about an hour (yeah right!) Let me just say that it was a madhouse that day...We had prom couples, regular couples, people who think they're hella cute that wanna take solo pictures, and teenie boppers dressin in the same outfits! Then there was us! Because GIMB has been throwing up lately I decided to change him at the studio right before the picture...
Why was I the one sweating during the photo shoot. Because he is a baby, the photographer used a whole roll of almost pictures on him. It was fun trying to make him smile... So, we were able to get a few good ones in there! then in changing the props we tried to sit him up by himself.... Aside from tipping over on his side.. it was quite successful. Even people in the mall stopped to watch him! I now have proof that he is the next Gerber baby!
Well, taking the pictures was the first part... waiting for the proofs and picking the pose you want was another. Have I mentioned how flustered I get when I am under pressure. Brahma Bull got a little peeved when it came to this point! I couldn't decide how many I wanted of each pose! He does have a side profile looking downward that would make a perfect CD cover! Once that was decided... I let BB go and buy a jacket at Macy's to hopefully make him feel better! I think it worked!
By the time all the photo stuff was over it was already 8:30pm..."Should I still go out tonight with the girlz?" By the time I reached our place, I made my decision to drive out to the city and join my friends! BB was going to stay home and sing his heart away with Cover Brutha anyways!
It has been over a year I believe since I had gone to a club to go dancing. I mentioned to Voodoo Child, we've only gone dancing at weddings! So, not only was I suffering from not having anything hip to wear, but wondering if I still knew how to dance. The moment we walked into 330 Ritch I got scared cuz I had no clue what song was being played, and everyone looked so different from the last time I saw them.
Okay, it was fun....dancing to the ol' skool music and bustin' out the moves from way back when... man, I even forgot about my "box"... thanks Weekender for reminding me! I tell ya.. if it weren't for Boy Wonder and frenz, I probably would have ended up dancing by myself! Well, after what seemed like a marathon of dancing.. We finally decided to call it quits...Thank Goodness!
As I we said our goodbyes I couldn't help but think that the reality is...I won't get to do this again for a long time...You wanna why...
I ended up getting home at 3am...I couldn't even wake up to do middle of the night feedings! Then I lugged myself to practice.. which was such a task for me... Even up til yesterday, I wasn't back to my regular irregular sleeping pattern! Man, I did not realize how much energy going out can be... But it was all worth it... not quite sure if I can go out freakin' guys anymore, but I will always be down to party with my friends!
