currently i am in nyc. dirty stinky big as fuck, nyc. this is my 2nd trip out here, last time i was here was when i was 13. my traveling partner chantizzle, had to cancel at the last minute due to circumstances out of his control. so i had to brave the trip to nyc on my own. which is fine, since i've grown accustomed to flying frequently. had i not, i'd probably be walking around jfk still like tom hanks with a fake ass accent in the movie terminal.
yes i saw the film, no i didn't get 2 finish it.
luckily, i met another conference goer on the plane and she helped me navigate once we got out the airport. she even spotted me when we shared the cab and i only had 15 bucks in my wallet. fuckin shiet.
i didn't realize how unprepared i was for nyc until i got to the hotel and forgot which name my room was under. i've been preparing for the move 2 seattle (which happens the day after i come back from nyc) that i didn't even think about what i was gonna do in nyc.
things are cool so far, i will blog later with my obersvations from nyc.

the plot thickens, i'm scheduled to leave cali come september. work knows, family knows & friends know. got the u-haul, the 1 bedroom bachelor pad and a new non-profit gig up in the emerald city. can you say HipHop, grant-writing and organizational planning? it's on.
the move is in place, been packing and shit. sad yet excited and happy at the same time. sad for leaving my family and friends behind, excited for the new life ahead of me. it's almost like going off to college all over again.
