i think that's the most idiotic thing i have ever heard of. then again it's just like our country to try to make everything sound politically correct.
i wish we could put all the military heads in a few days of counseling. i wonder what that would do for history. to me, i think it's apparent that americans in general have an inferiority complex of some sort. esp. those who embrace mainstream attitudes without any critical thought or analysis behind it.
now i guess the latest thing is to attack al jazeera, the arab news network and say that when they showed dead US and UK soldiers, it violated the geneva convention on how to treat soldiers.
it's not like they shot em guys. ya'll did.
they just put it on the local news. i guess being filipino, i'm used to seeing dead bodies in the news, if u ever watch the filipino channel. i can see why people are pissed off. it's kinda distasteful, but then again, so was the decision to go to war. yeah, it makes the US look bad. but then again so does the decision to go to war... and so on, and so on...
now they have people talkin shit about protesters and how they aren't respectful of the freedoms they have in america. the fact that they are expressing their freedom by making a statement is part of being american, is it not? the fact that people swallow whatever the media & government feeds to you seems more "unamerican" (read communism) than protesting.
i guess that's just me.
i haven't hit up a protest rally yet. not gonna lie. i don't feel like it's my place to do things like that anymore. i still think it's important. what i do at work is more important to me (working with API's in the hood) is my part in the struggle.

in the third time in the past 25 years, iraq is involved in a war. the way it all came out shows america's hypocrisy in full view.
we talk about freedom as if everyone we know what's best for everyone. even in the face of dissent with the rest of the world, we are fighting anyway.
i agree with the fact that there is concerns with saddam hussein and his dictatorship. the way that america forced its way into iraq however is more of a concern to me than one man with his chemical weapons far away from here.
today i'm ashamed to be american. because today it means we have to go to war to protect our money and our way of life.
the hardest part is that this freedom we have, to speak our minds, is being used to justify our presence in iraq. as if we as a nation didn't do anything, our freedom would be taken away. it's just like what chris rock would say... we are at war... "in case shit happens..."
so here's to freedom, democracy and the true american way... read a book. turn the tv off. go online and do research about the world. attend a rally. stand on either side. whatever you do, don't just sit there and accept what is being told to you.
let's not waste our freedom because right now, people are dying because of it.

on my way to work this morning, i happened to notice there was a bike outside next to my side gate. i looked further and noticed that the side gate was open. i jumped out of the car and ran to the backyard and as cedric the entertainer says "i wish a muthafucka would..." be in my backyard so i could whoop ass.
to my dismay luvbug's bike was taken and in turn we now have one of those crappy bmx bikes. it is very perplexing to have the person's bike there still i have no idea what was going on with the person's head. asshole.
i'm going to get that shit fingerprinted...

it seems as of late i've been running out of it... reason being this.
i've had my palm V for years now and it's suited me well... but with 2mb of memory i'm strugglin for room on that mug. enter the new sony clie. with color screen and mp3 player... that shit is calling me in my sleep. haunting me i tell you. it's a sad day when i have to resist the call of electronics.
addicted.
it's not that i'm not gonna use it, it's just that i don't REALLY need it. but it would make life much easier when i sync up my shit. i use the palm like crazy, so i'm justified in buying it.
i just don't want 2 pay 300 bones for it.
since it just came out, it's not gonna be on sale for a while, and here's my predicament. i have some dough set aside for it right, but i've been trying to resist the urge to get up and buy one. namely because i know the game that is played. as with any computer device, the prices always go down and u'll find urself slappin urself when the shit goes on sale somewhere.
i wonder how long i can wait.... hell its cheaper online... hmmm if only i didn't have all these other bills to pay off.. crap

finally, there's a club worth going to in sacramento. it's a pretty nice place, has that las vegas feel and it's cleaner than some clubs in SF. there's only one problem...
the club is dead...
it just opened up a few months ago, so i guess it'll take a while for everyone to find out about it. luvbug and i found it in the sacramento news and review. since both of us have never heard of it, we decided to check it out one night... we both got in free... and it's been a favorite ever since... haha
for a place as nice as this, i woulda thought that there would have been more people there. but in time i guess. what a waste of a good club.
another thing is that the music sucks. we also went for luvbug's bday this past friday and the music was pretty wack. dj would play some old ass madonna cut and then bust into nelly. wtf. worst of the worst all the way around. i'm debating whether or not to drop a business card and offer to dj one night. hella weak.
i'll keep ya'll updated to see if this place gets better or not.. hell i may have a new night job.
i didn't realize the last blog i put up here was never published. i am not pleased. it was a good one too.. fuck
