it always feels good to come home. ok well actually i'm not home right now... i'm chillin' at the house of infamous dj snayk eyz in vtown. i passed by the house earlier today to drop my stuff off. my parents were at a party for a lil cousin of mine... i'm in vtown for the weekend mainly because of ron and lyc's engagement party.

my friends since high school and grammar school respectively, these two finally got engaged. i was at their engagement party earlier today at osaka sushi in vallejo. i was asked to be a groomsman. this is my first wedding. i've never been part of a wedding... well actually once, when i was supposed to read for my cousin Naomi's wedding... but i came late and forgot my piece... so they made me read something else... my bad naomi... i'll let u read something at my wedding... don't hold your breath cuz...
so anyway... it as good to see friends today... tonight gonna head out to SF with mike o. and snake eyz to the mighty four battle. haven't been to one of these in a while.. it should be fun. it's gonna be a sword fight... women to men ratio ==> 1:10. high testosterone, but it's all love cuz it's hip hop... so it'll be cool...
not that i care about the cuz i have my luvbug in spritual essence with me at all times...
i'm sitting here in the snayk pit... listening to snake eyz practice for his exhibition tonight at the mighty 4. this fool is off the chain and then some...

i've made a decision to take only one class next semester, or maybe 2... depending on how weak willed i am. the reason for this being the advancement of my musical endeavors. for all 2 of you that have been following my musical "road to stardom" will remember that i said my cd would be done by summer. now it's slated for december.
ok so yeh... what with next semester you ask? well i have 2 upcoming projects to work on by end of summer; rhyme scheme's album and appleseed. so i want to dedicate more time to that. school has been great, but work has been a chore, even though it's related to my schooling. well, if i didn't have this damn "burning desire" to do music.
i will get this shit done someday. and i guess today is another small step towards that reality.
in the meantime, i'm looking for a car still... preferably a honda or toyota... i don't like cars that are made to breakdown after 100,000 miles. that's fucked up. i hate capitalism sometimes... ok... more than just sometimes...

and so is the cold weather. i had to bike home in a hurried gust of wind that made biking a bit more of a chore than usual. i got a bunch of shit in my mouth as i was breathing in. it's never a good thing to swallow gnats. i don't care who says they have lots of protein.
everytime i pass work, i bike by the same road kill. on the way down... beaver, squirrel, skunk. on the way back, jackrabbit, beaver, opossum. (the beaver is the only one i see twice)
it's amazing at the crap you can see if you're not on the road. biking down power inn road is kinda dangerous cuz cars float thru there like it's the autobahn and shit... that ain't cool...
anything for the skrilla i guess...

damn, there's too much going on right now... i'm trying to stay in perspective... but school and work is kickin my ass. my music is falling by the wayside. i've already made it a point to take 2 classes next semester and work less hours so i can focus on the beats... i hope it's not too late by then...
verse just dropped by with some new dialated peeps ish...
i am jealous.

yo, i updated the eye candy gallery. there is now a directory for you to peruse before hand. i also added the "ibo gallery" which is a tribute to my homebird, ibo... (rest in peace, g). it turns out ibo knew alot of heads... peep it for yourself...
i woke up to news reports of bombings in Kabul, Afghanistan. not a good way to start the day. well, let's see what happens from here... it's all out of our hands and in dubya's... scary thought, ya?
well not really...
if you think about it, who does dubya listen to?
us, the people of the United States. if you ask me, i think his job is to balance what's best for the country and what will keep his popularity rating up. to me, those two things are not related, but the nature of the beast makes it that way.
so what does that mean for you and i?
in a roundabout sort of way, we as citizens should be able to influence the president's decisions. right now his choices do not reflect my wishes, desires, etc... i'd like to see something happen, but war is not one of the things on my top ten list of things to do.
regardless of how most people are thinking, i believe we are in some kind of hysteria because we were attacked. with this situation, i don't think it's in our best interest to get into a war with the wrong people.
but i guess it's too late to debate about it now... we just attacked kabul... here we go...

remember that TV show back in the 80's called "small wonder"? that was a dumb fuckin show. but hey, i watched it anyway. my lil brother loved that shit, he was bout 8 i guess...
anyway...
there was this girl who was a robot that looked pretty real, but she just talked funny (ie. in a monotonous robotic tone)
as if they would spend all that money to make a realistic robot that sounded like shit huh...
so anyway, no one could tell she was fake, even though she talked like without any glotteral intonations or any syllabic accentuations. prrt i say...
but yeah, i just made the web page smaller, hence the "small wonder" thought. just a lil blast from the past for the OG heads out there... for all you new skool cats out there that don't know what the frick i'm talkin about... watch E! the entertainment channel or VH-1 behind the stars when they do one of those "where are they know" kind of shits... then you may be enlightened...
