A train and the special chocolate place...a very Memory Day it is!
The weather has been pretty funky lately. Hot, where it's too hot to take a nap in my room hot. Then cold, where I need a sweater and house shoes when I wake-up cold. Mums promised when the weather got warmer we would go back to the beach. I guess warm isn't here yet because I haven't been back to the beach.
Well, Pops got an extra day to play and didn't have to work. I've been so good picking up my toys and taking care of Ading, Mums and Pops promised me a special treat. My special treat included a cable car train and a trip to the special chocolate place.
I didn't know what to think of when they first told me cable car train. I know train, but the cable car part - I had no clue! Until we got there. I was so superly-duperly excited I couldn't sit still in my car seat. I wanted to get out right there, but Pops had to find parking. And after all that waiting, we had to wait some more! There was this line of other people wanting to ride the special cable car train too.

My turn! I was a tad bit scared at first, so I just sat down next to Pops. But when I looked over at Ading Sissy, she was standing on Mums' lap with a big hoo-ha smile on face. She was looking all over the place, and all I can see was some girl's face standing in front of me. So, I decided to stand up too. Pops promised to hold onto me so I would fall and break my face. I'm glad I did. I got to see the cable car conductor drive and I got to see wherever we were going. It was so cool! I especially liked it when the conductor would ring the bell. I wish I could ring the bell. Mums says I can be a conductor too, but I have to go to college first - whatever that means.
We did a lot of other stuff after our cable car train ride. Actually Mums and Pops just did a lot of shopping for their special date. I got too pooped from all the walking I decided to take my nap.

My nap was so good that when I woke-up, we were on our way to the special chocolate place. Another woo-hoo! Pops let me pick whatever I wanted - The Cable Car Sundae. It was mmmm-mmmm good. A great Memory Day for me.
