Burn, baby Burn!

When we first arrived in Sun Dyago, it was pretty nippy and windy. Nice weather. The kind I'm use to in Sisco. But now...mann-oh-mann...it's like the last time we were here. It's hot and hard to breath when you go outside. So hot it makes the grass and trees burn.

I've never seen so much smoke! Well, when Pops bbq, but this smoke is all around. You smell it when you go outside and you see white stuffy-stuffs on the cars and flowers outside. Lolo Dadd closed all the windows in the house and just turned on all the fans. Mums says we can't go outside either so I'm riding my scooter in the house. When you look at the sky it's red - the moon is red too! A picture I forgot to take. And when you look past all the red, you can't see nothing but smoke.

Mums says she doesn't like all the fires, but because it's so hot, there's going to be more. So far the man on the t.v. said there are 9 fires here. I know 9 is before 10, but I really don't know if that's a lot. Maybe when I run out of fingers it'll be a lot.

Last night Mums packed a small bag for me and Ading Sissy. She called it our "Evac bag." There's even bottles of water and Pediasure in there. Some man knocked on the door and told us to do that just in case.

Granny says to lock all the doors because of looters. I don't know what a looter is, but Mums couldn't stop laughing.
