I just had to blog to give you something NEW to read!
FAMILY
It was nice to have damoomoo home more when the hotel cut his hours back... not good on the finances considering we have our family vacation coming up at the end of the month. Last week we ventured through the DOUBLE V and took a quick stroll around Nut Tree Family Park. It was actually really cool inside. It has an indoor arcade which we didn't dare go inside (we would have been stuck in there and left broke), a mini roller coaster, merry-go-round, train, and of course junk food vendors. The Park is just behind FENTON'S (yes, the best place for the large sundae), and we have parking! And of course damoomoo's favorite AMICI'S Pizza! No, we didn't visit all three places for one meal. We did it in a span of 2 days though!
AJ & Mio
They are on vacation mode. We bought our season pass to Six Flags Discovery Kingdom, so for the Fourth I took them there to watch fireworks. We arrived at about 8pm with over an hour before the "show". I had planned to get funnel cake and Icee's but that didn't happen considering that the line went all the way to the dolphin tank (just know that it was pretty long). I tried to take them to the new Thomas Town, but the line for the train was too long as well. So I compromised and bought cotton candy and sno cones (bad idea considering I had no WIPES with me!).
The show was taking place in the water ski stadium. I think I am part of the few people that actually liked watching that show, cuz I don't even think they have it anymore! That water SMELLED rotten!!! It was pretty gross, and we were within the first 10 rows! The fireworks were launched in the middle of the "lake" which meant the show was pretty damn close kinda scary during the finale! The boys, covering their ears, really enjoyed the show! It was fun to have some quality time with my sons. Sure enough... they were knocked out by the time we got home!
2 more weeks before we leave for Disneyland and Lego Land!!! woo hoo.... A little over a week before I at the MK mother ship in Dallas!!
