Be a STAR..Seminar 2007
Here is the only way I explain my whirlwind adventures at the Mary Kay Mothership. (I am currently in between trips unpacking dallas and packing for Disneyland)
Day Zero
Took a red-eye flight out of Sacramento to Dallas. Which basically means NO SLEEP! Arrived in Dallas immediately feeling the humidity AND the MK spirit.
A few hours after arrival we headed to the Dallas Convention Center to pick up registration packets, pick up as much FREE stuff as possible, take sneak peek at upcoming items and sit inside the CAREER CARS......
Yes, this is me in MY Pontiac G6. At least the same kind that I working towards. I also got to see the new Pink Cadillac ESCALADE!!!
I also got to see the new Aubergine Director Suit and Class of 2008 ring....
Then, we took a tour of the MK Manufacturing Plant. Yes, we got to see the very labs where your cleansers, lip glosses, eye creams, perfumes are developed, researched, made, and packaged!! To make the tour more entertaining, each area put together a "display" that fits the seminar them
e, "Be a Star!" and all the visitors voted for their favorite. Some were cool, some were interactive, and some were just there....
That's it for now... It's back to reality with little ones needing your motherly attention. More to come at from National Area Banquet and Awards Night. Yes, we are all about Recognition and Cinderella Prizes... Just how Mary Kay Ash intended!
