Heatwave in SF

It's funny how people all of a sudden feel a few days of 80+ degree weather here in the bay and they consider it a "heatwave." I guess it's nothing new coming from someone who grew up in the Philippines, raised in Sacramento, and lived out in the midwest for a little bit. Yeah I've been through a lot worse but it's all perspective really. I think I got spoiled by all the natural air conditioning here in SF (ie open the window and it's now 65 degrees inside).

I just finished watching You, Me, and Dupree - a really good movie I might add. I think it was done well, and I think the whole Owen Wilson / Matt Dillon combo worked. It's funny to see how movies portray marriage being so sacred and something you fight to keep alive, yet in real life the actors and actresses who play the characters are married/divorced within a few months. Ironic. Maybe if more people lived like the ideals shown in romantic comedy movies, maybe things would be better. Don't you think?

Anyways, life's been pretty good otherwise. I don't really have much reason to blog now except for my very own amusement. I know no one reads my shit anyways. Who cares? Why spend time writing this crap when I could be out there living it. Speaking of which, I'm gonna go enjoy this so called "heatwave" now.
