my present to the dmv

Today I am 7 months old. I'm passed the halfway mark and I'm on my way...

I can roll over really fast.
I can sit-up for a good while with no help from Mums and Pops.
I can stand up for a good while - then plop down on my butt-butt.
I can walk to Mums when in my walker.
I can grab whatever I can get my hands on - then put it in my mouth.
I can say Ma-Ma.
I can give kisses.
I can give hugs.
I eat solids 2x a day - mainly just pears, sweet potatoes and green beans.
I still do raspberries with my mouth - now I stick out my tongue for some added spit.
I have 2 teeth on the bottom - my teeth on top are coming out soon.
I have the tendency to stare at my hands.
I smile and laugh - when I feel like it.

My special gift was a trip to the DMV for an i.d. card. I can't use it to drive, but I can show it when I fly on an airplane to go to Sun Dyago. Mums says I have to wait 60 days before I get it though. I don't know what 60 days is - oh well.

The lady at the DMV was getting a little upset because she couldn't take a good picture of me for my i.d. card. It's not my fault. Mums was holding me so high, I couldn't help but swing my feet. But the camera lady was telling me stay still. Is she crazy?! I can't stay still. I DON'T STAY STILL! Oh well to her. Then all these nice people started saying my name so I can look straight, but the camera lady got mad again. I think she needs a hug.

Snap. She finally took my picture. I can't wait to see my i.d. card. But let me tell you what I did on my Sadder Day and Sun Day.



I got my flu shot. At least this time it was only one.
Of course it hurt!

Mums and Pops says it will protect me from all the ickiness when I fly on the plane. I hope so. Everytime I fly on the plane, I get the sniffles.

Guess what? I have the sniffles right now. Don't worry, I still smile and laugh. If I see you, I'll smile at you, okay?
