a wristlet for me?

What a day!

Whew, I'm pooped!

I met one of my gazillion cousins for the first time today. He is now 1. A lot of my aunties and uncles haven't seen me since I came out of Mums. So I was passed around for a bit. Some even poked me, and some played with my hair. I was really tired, and I just wanted to go back to Mums or Pops, so I yelled at whomever was holding me. They got the hint. In a matter of seconds, I was in Pops' arms.

Hee hee. Fooled ya.

The party was just okay. Every now and then loud music came on, and I would get startled. I hate when that happens because I can be in a middle of a dream, but when I get startled, I wake up. Just like that. That wasn't the only thing loud. This colorful giant kept talking and yelling - I think Mums called her a clown. Eek! She was scary. My auntie tried to bring me to the clown, but I played it cool. I pretended not to like her by just sitting there. I didn't say a single word. Not one single word! I didn't even give the clown eye contact.

The clown gave me a gift though. I think it was my look. I probably scared her.

She gave me my first wristlet. A balloon wristlet. Okay-okay, Pops doesn't like me using the word wristlet. What I meant to say is, it's a ladybug balloon. I liked it. It didn't hurt when I would accidentally bop myself on the head or face. And I can even put it in my mouth. It had a funny taste at first, but the taste goes away after a while.

And the red! Ooooooh, when I look at it, it makes my eyeballs come together and then it looks funny. But just really quick. My eyes would see normal again.

I love it! I love it!
