The M.F. Update
Sometimes I think the Magic Flute is an annoying MF that I just wish is done. This is the biggest production that I've ever been in. We have to keep our availability open from 6-10pm Monday through Friday, and that's just for blocking. Add to this that we're not all completely memorized and you have a big deal of work to do.
Acting is new for me but just as fun. I actually have a small amount of speaking lines which requires me to actually have a mood, tone of voice, etc. Barbara Damashek is working us hard, but it would probably be easier, once again, if everything was memorized.
Add to this school, work and the semblence of a romantic relationship and all of a sudden you realized that you're behind in a few classes. Just last week I crammed for a 20th Century Music History test and found that I knew more than I thought, but not enough. Hopefully I scraped a low B out of it, and even maybe an A.
And oh yeah, I've broken my single season boarding record - 6 times in two months, including two stayovers [one unintentional] and a boarding buddy who happens to be a cutie. Plus last Thursday, at Northstar, I hit two PHAT jumps and another pretty good one. Looks like the balance is coming back again. And if you haven't had the chance yet, take $20 and do the night skiing at Squaw, it is so freakin' worth it.
