Car Repair Sucks!

Friday morning on my way to work, I heard a weird sound coming from my car. I began to accelerate and turn from the exit, and it got louder. I stopped at a light, and again as I was accelerating and turning, the noise!

I immediately called Damoomoo and told him something sounds funny. I can't describe it, but it is not normal! He told me to take to the shop. He actually had me talk to his co-worker who moonlights as a car mechanic. They told me that if it's the brakes don't have them work on it. He can do all that for half the price. But if they diagnose it as something different, then have them work on it.

So I slowly, in the rain, drive it to the dealership near my work. With Damoomoo's request to rotate the tires, and being only 3,000 miles away from our 60,000 mile tune-up, I agree to have that done. It took care of the oil change that was long overdue, and cut out another cost for labor. The guy charged me another $100 because he had to do some service related to the fuel injection, and had to charge extra because I have never used their Service before! Oh you suck, because I was told that Toyota had a system that you can take your car anywhere!

I just needed to get to work, Damoomoo wasn't picking up his phone, so I just said Fine! In the end I charged $560! I bought $54 worth of parts (brakes) so Mr.Goodwrench could fix. Damoomoo and him made this whole arrangement/schedule of how to get it all done the next day!

So that leads to my Saturday! Woke up earlier than normal. Got the kids their breakfast and Saturday morning cartoons. Gathered them up and off to Mr. Goodwrench's house. We took 2 cars. My car, Morpheus, got worked on, front tires taken off to get to the brakes and rotors. I took Mio and went shopping for his party. Picked up the guys and went on a hunt to find a place to resurface the rotors.

Okay, I will stop at that because I don't understand much about cars.. the moral of this story... take care of your car!
