good grief..it really has been that long since I blogged! Well I have to thank my mentor, Ms. Voodoo to still keep me on her site! Thought she would have booted me out a long time ago. Although I don't write very often, yes I know...I should say hardly, huh? I love writing about what's been happening in my life or where i've been recently.

Speaking of...i've been wanting to write about our little getaway to LA for Ms. Voodoo's bachelorette.! Can I say we finally know what the hell they were talkin about trekkin on the 5!!!! We had left Oakland, on a Thursday night at 10pm. Ms. Voodoo held the wheel for about 2 hours and then we switched in the middle of God knows where??? Plus we had to use the restroom. Can I say it was frickin COLD!!! Thank god I was wearing my fleece pants that kept me warm, plus doin the running man in the parking lot. It was pretty cool on the road w/ my 2 girlfriends! We haven't hung out in the longest time, due to jobs, distance, family, S.O. But we try! Anyhow, after leaving the bathroom in a threesome! MUST GO IN A GROUP!!!! Especially since there's was this man watchin us from his frickin white van w/ his headlights on! WEIRD!

We finally get back on the 5 and I'm driving. As Ms. Voodoo calls it I was dodging cars like crazy. I think I was just being courteous, being on the slow lane and then changing to the fast lane to pass up a slow car and then back into the slow lane so I don't get a speeding ticket for goin about 100 miles an hour.... Now was I speeding folks!!! No not really right..since I am on the 5 and it's about 1am now.

I finally noticed this Ford 250 who's just so impatient and is about to be on my tail. I move aside and I notice two trailers in front of me side by side. The Ford starts tailin of the trailers. Obviously he's not goin to get anywhere. So what does the idiot do! He frickin drives into the median which is pretty much a ditch if you know the 5. He passes up the trailer and tries gettin out of the ditch. He's having trouble gettin out of the ditch, finally comes out of it, the trailers swerve to the right as the Ford cuts in front of them and does tumbles onto the right side of the road and ends up on its back!!!!! IS THAT CRAZY OR WHAT!!!! This all happens right in front of us!!!!! Thank God I totally slowed down and was not anywhere near them. We pass the accident up and pull off to the side of the road. Ms. Voodoo dials 911 and tries to give our location, although all we could remember we passed up an exit about 10 minutes ago.

Let's just say this whole incident totally woke our asses up! As we catch our breath, and our pulses return to normal we finally approach the Grapevine!!! WOO HOO!!!! 1 MORE HOUR TILL ANAHEIM!!! So why does it slow down? UGH...NOT ANOTHER ONE!!! Another accident....so we're trailin on the left side..and what do we see... the cab of a trailer ON FIRE!!!! I swear..THIS IS OUR NIGHT!!!! Ok...they've gotta be in 3's right.... When we thought it was all good, we're nearing the Disney exit..about 2 miles away... it's 3am... I see a Toyota van, all smushed up!!!!

OK people's!!! There you have it!!!! Our adventure goin to Disneyland on a Thursday night on the 5!!!! Would I ever travel at night again???? hmmmmmmmmmmm....maybe????
