I'm not going to write about the groups of friends/family and their intentions during our (me and ms. voodoo) wedding. She did enough of that on her blog. I would like to say something about family who forget what the event is about and stir up unnecessary drama because of certain people not being invited. This is to you:

You are lucky you were even invited. It is a privilege not a right. When we sent YOU an invitation, do NOT assume everyone else got one and DON'T go around asking if EVERYONE else got theirs. Are you in the 4th grade? If you've already been through several weddings, you SHOULD know that these things cost a lot of money. DON'T assume we have that kind of money to spend. Believe me, if it were REALLY up to us, we would've been on a plane to Hawaii with only members of our own families. Is that being greedy? No. It's our fucking day. We chose to share it with other families and friends because we're good like that. Can we share it with everyone? No. Would we like to? Yes. Now that we see how you really are...NO.

So to all of you who have helped us during these times and especially those friends and family members who have helped Ms. VooDoo tremendously...a big THANK YOU. We will be there for you through all your good and bad times as well. For those who have caused nothing but drama and in turn gave no additional help to our situation...don't bother to come if that's how you'll be. We are trying to start a lifetime of happiness together with the support of friends and family. We don't need your drama to mess that all up. So unless you have something to contribute, don't make things any harder for us. Don't make things more troublesome. If you don't want to come, don't RSVP and we'll gladly give your space to people who truly deserve it. Seriously. It's not about you anyways. It's about us.

Enginerd Wisdom

- There are three schools of magic. One: State a tautology, then ring the changes on its corollaries; that's philosophy. Two: Record many facts. Try to find a pattern. Then make a wrong guess at the next fact; that's science. Three: Be aware that you live in a malevolent Universe controlled by Murphy's Law, sometimes offset by Brewster's Factor; that's engineering.-
