Something is wrong when...
it's too quiet!!
With my two little boyz who are constantly running around, talking/yelling/crying, playing with toys, silence signifies that they are finally sleeping, OR up to somthing!!
Last week, Damoomoo and I were home (I was sick), I saw them playing in the corner with the nail cutting supplies (baby clippers and baby nail cutting scissors), so I immediately took it away. Then they move on into the living room with the water bottle. After making a lot of little puddles, Mio slips and falls. Damoomoo goes to see what's wrong, as Mio is crying, then instead of "Are you okay?" I hear...... laughter! He shows me Mio's head...
AJ cut his hair w/ the scissors... there were little strips here and there all over the top of Mio's head!!! All we could do was laugh! poor Mio. So, our solution... shave their hair all off. Now, they both look like Daddy!

We finally had our big show. I have to admit I was really scared and skeptical about how well the show was going to be. But in the end... our dancers and musicians did more than pull it off... there was so much "emotch" and you can really feel the music!!! Yipee to all of you... and of course I could not go without my "solos"... I was really pissed about the first one in Tahaw...that was just a brain fart! and the second one Mangalay ... I knew I WAS counting!!! Then of all the times we did costume rehearsals... my Muslim costumes decided to break open at the zipper during the show!!! Thank you Eman for pinning me up during curtain call... and Ate War and others for emergency pinning before Mangalay!!!! teamwork...
The question is... will this be my last?
We shall see, Damoomoo and I are taking the family to Vegas in October to check out housing possibilities (and jobs). With the rising costs of living in the Bay, our family of four barely making it paycheck to paycheck will never be able to afford a home here. Can you imagine paying 4ooK for a house that is 3BD/1BA over 15 years old and not in the best school district? It's crazy!
Let's not get our hopes up, but our chances sure look better down there. Besides, I think it's time to move on our own. I REALLY want to have a place to feel at home at! Not that I don't appreciate the Laxa's generosity, but it's just not ours. We'll see!
Well back to work!
