It's A Small World [revisited]

On Friday my friend JoeJazz wanted to go and celebrate his new hiring as a music teacher at an elemantary school in Danville, so we decided to do the karaoke thing at Silver Cloud on Lombard/Webster in the city.

So I rolled up with a few friends and luckily the people there no me [from my infamous bday party back in Feb] so the DJ slipped me in right away. I sang "Since I Don't Have You" (Guns 'n Roses style) and after it was done I went to the bar to get a drink and this couple sitting there were giving me props and what not.

I stayed a little while longer [JoeJazz sang "I Feel Like A Woman" and I sang "Shout"] and right before we left the couple from earlier got up because the BF was singing a song. After the song, we got talking and it turns out that he recognized my roommate because they both worked together at the commissary in San Diego. So I exchanged numbers so we could go party at Silver Cloud again.

Saturday night I headed to my friend Angie's house for a little get together. As I walked into the backroom, sure enough the couple from the night before were sitting there. Turns out that he rooms with my friend Angie as well! Yeah, no kidding.

Anyway, it made my last weekend before school starts pretty fun.
