The Time Machine
Last week I registered for the Fall 04 semester at SF State. And it looks as if I'll be doing a fair amount of studying this upcoming semester. I'm taking four REAL classes, as opposed to just ensembles. In fact, this year will probably be my toughest year in terms of taking classes. But if I make it through this year, then next year will be fairly kick back. But overall, I got 16 units so far, with only two of them being ensembles. I have theory, history, lyric diction and choral lit.
The funny thing is, now that I have a year of full-time studentness under my belt, I am not into full-time work mode. [Yeah, voodoo, we'll have dinner very soon] This summer I was looking forward to working more hours, but the honest fact is I am not in the mindset to do it. Of course I struggled a bit to keep up with bills, but I did it. The bottom line is that I can't wait for school to start again. I feel like nothing is challenging me right now and I'm growing stale as I'm sitting here waiting for August to finish.
Weird, eh?
But then again, I am a music major.
