Is there a difference between a kiss on the cheek and one on the lips? 
 
What if the lip one is a peck?  or a soft, lingering one?  or more than one, but still a peck?
 
In my previous experiences, I've thought that a kiss on the lips is a 'more than a friend' type of interaction.  But recently, I'm starting to think [from first-hand experience] that not everyone thinks that way.
