KARMA


There was this girl I knew who really liked me, yet I was pretty indifferent toward her. She kept waiting for me to call her so we could go watch a Disney movie, but yet I never got around to it. I knew she was waiting too, yet, I felt no attraction to her in the 'relationship' sorta way, so I was really passé about it.

There was another girl, a few years ago, who swore that my vibes toward her were all about us getting together, yet to me it was nothing more than a little flirting.

What's my point?

I think the karma is coming back around.

On a musical note....

This year's version of the SFSU Chamber Singers was a pretty special bunch. We had an awesome tour and because of the level of talent and musicianship our director wanted us to record our repertoire. So this week we'll be at Temple Emmanuel recording. Our CD hopefully comes out by fall, along with our Winter compilation.

The University Chorus will be performing Mozart's Requiem on May 15 and 16 at Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church on 18th and Diamond in the Castro. The performance on the 15th starts at 8 pm and the one on the 16th starts at 730 pm. Tix I think are $10.

I was asked to be a special guest performer with the Palabuniyan Kulintang Ensemble. Master Kalanduyan asked me personally to play. Yet because of my work schedule I had to graciously turn him down. Damn I was asked by a Master and had to turn him down.

Only 1/2 a month left till finals, juries and the girl I'm digging on to leave for home for the summer...
