You know those break-ups on TV, especially on shows like Ally or Buffy or any other show that has some strong female lead? They always seem so easy to do. Yea, he's not good for me or, the world will come to an end if I continue hooking up with this fella.
Yea, well I wish it were that easy in real life. And that easily distinguished.
The bad boy addiction is impossible to kick. And the more women want him, the more you seem to want him. Of course the smart thing to do, in TV land, would be to back out and let all the other women have him (and if there were poetic justice, he'd break his leg while playing basketball and be all miserable when you're gone). Then you wait for your prince charming who always is some Freddie Prinze Jr in geek disguise, and he of course is going to show up right after your break up with bad boy.
But that of course is TV land. In real life, you're sitting at a distance wishing you were that woman right next to him, and waiting for your supposed prince charming is like standing in a line that's 100x longer than the one at the DMV with a pathetic sticker on your forehead that says "LOSER".
