PARTY TIME
this weekend we celebrated the first birthday of AJ's kuya matt-matt! Kuya josh also came up from lala land to join in on the festivities. So, for the whole weekend, the 3 stooges were complete. Now, all we have to do is wait for the 2 PI uncles to arrive and the Basketball team will be official! Sunday we all went to church (yes, I go to church!). AJ was making his "I'm tired, but I'm gonna try and cry anyways" cry. Then Josh was talking cuz he saw all the pictures of Jesus everywhere. Finally add Matt-matt to the choir who is wailing cuz he claims he is really talking, but just comes out like a loud "ahhhhhhh"! The funny part... they were the only kids making noise in church!
Back to the birthday party...it was the most hectic I have ever seen. There were kids everywhere! Picture this if you can.... About 30-40 adults, which is already a good sized get-together, right. Then add about 20 kids to that! That is on average one kid per couple! John and i had to leave for a little breather and walk around the mall!
BABY UPDATE
There was a laugh! AJ finally started to laugh. It must be contagious because if you hear him, you cannot resist a laugh either! His grip is getting stronger and stronger. With adult help and supervision he can even stand himself up! We think he is just going to skip crawling and go right into walking. However, after this past weekend, I'm not quite sure I want him to walk yet... I am not ready to run around after him!
I had gotten my haircut (nice and short) in SF with my aunt. Daniel's station was upstairs in a loft area, so auntie and AJ stayed downstairs enjoying the nice weather. In the middle of getting my new do, i hear these "duck" sounds... It was AJ laughing! Apparently he is very ticklish right under his chin, specifically the left side!
We are really enjoying our new ride though! Just got the windows tinted, so it's a little easier to keep the baby shaded from the sun. I finally saw another Matrix in Vallejo... just like ours, too! oh well, the glory lasted for awhile!
PET PEEVE
okay i know all you smokers out there were already pissy that you are not aloud to smoke indoors. Meaning you gotta stop your groove just to go outside and enjoy your smoke. Well, I'm sorry, but also... don't smoke anywhere near a baby either! My aunt and i decided to grab a couple of fraps from Starbuck's. Since it was a nice day we wanted to sit outside so the baby can enjoy the fresh air! Then a few minutes later... these two guys decide to sit at the table right next to us (there were two other empty tables also around the corner!) and SMOKE! We had the baby stroller, which is hard to miss, but they still decided to smoke right next to us!
Is it wrong for me to be mad?
