So yeah, we're back on the air!

Anything important happen to me? Not really, but I'll tell you about it anyway...

So I had a memorization test in my choir rehearsal today, and I'm telling you right now, French is a b!tch. My direction told us, "French is easy. Just say it exactly how you see it on the paper!" Yeah right! Spanish, Latin, yeah. French? Ohhhhhh no! Anyway, I made it through the test, but we have some even harder memorization tests comign up. And we're doing a whole freakin' set in French! Man!

Tuesday night I taught some friends of mine a doo wop song, "Queen of My Heart" by Rene and Ray [a cool, classic doowop. look for it on Napster.] I have so much fun teaching. It's almost a rush when you see the twinkle in the eyes of the people you're teaching. My buddies were so excited to learn the song, I could tell by their smiles when the harmonies were right! It's a good feeling. We're preparing for SFSU's PCN and I'm the "Musical Director" which just means I'm in charge of choir. But to take people whose only singing experience is the shower and be able to help them blend their voices together is such a treat! You all should try it sometime.

Oh yeah, today I actually 'heard' Toni Braxton's "Breathe Again." Now when I say heard, I mean actually listened to the words. Isn't it funny how when something emotional happens to you, all of sudden all the songs on the radio are talking about your experience? It's seems the only time I actually listen to lyrics is when I'm in the middle of some emotional drama. But it's cool though. After this one girl dumped me, I was remarking to my coworker, "Is it me or are 3/4 of all the songs we hear about love, heartbreak and the sort?" Trippy eh? Just goes to show you that everybody goes through that thing sooner or later in their life! Cheer up though. You were just fine before that person came into your life and you'll be fine after the person's gone. You'll see. [Talking to myself. Hahahah]

So yeah,
until the next time
